This book has a very interesting storyline.
The Child Redistribution Adoption System (CRAS) determines whether a family can keep their child or not. It claims to be the cure for America’s failing economy. This book follows Robin who fell into the scheme and lost her own child to the system. 2 years later she’s trying to fight back with a group she meets.
The storyline moved at a good pace and the plot developed well. It had plenty of action in it. As with most of the author’s books, it did end on a cliffhanger.
Robin’s character was good. It was nice to see her personal development from the beginning to the end. I can see her becoming a very good lead character and fighting for what she wants. I also liked the mysterious side of Mr X.
I’m really looking forward to reading the next in the series. I have indeed pre-ordered it already. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book. Its a very enjoyable, gripping read.
