This is the 3rd book in the Flow series.
Quin believed that a life away from The Beck would make her happy. But when a cruel twist of fate forces her to leave sooner than planned, she struggles to come to terms with her new reality. Haunted by memories of the people she left behind, she finds herself wishing she was back in Patrol, with Cam by her side.
Cut off from The Beck, the escapees carve out a new existence on a small island. Tentative bonds are formed, but as disputes surface and rebellion is threatened, Quin quickly realises that their new home isn’t the sanctuary she had imagined. And when one of her fellow citizens is willing to go to desperate measures to save those he loves, he puts the entire community in danger.
I am absolutely loving this series. This book was brilliant. The plot continued to develop well, the characters are great, there was plenty of fast paced action and it was enjoyable to read.
I’m loving Quin. Even in a new community with others she doesn’t know, she is still managing to assert herself as a confident, capable member.
I like all the characters in this book, as well as the new characters introduced. Taylor is sticking out to me at the moment as one of the strong one’s though, and I’m liking her presence in the plot. She’s ever the voice of reason amongst them all.
Although we didn’t see much of Cameron in this book, I still like him as a character. The ending though… Let’s hope things improve!
It was interesting reading about a new setting and the struggles they have had establishing this new community. There was always going to be obstacles to overcome.
Overall, the storyline is brilliant and with brilliant characters. I would definitely recommend this series.
My rating: 5/5*
