Feral Wolf (Darkmore Penitentiary Book 3) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

This is the third book in the Darkmore Penitentiary series.

Books 1 and 2 have been renamed to Caged Wolf (Darkmore Penitentiary Book 1) and Alpha Wolf (Darkmore Penitentiary Book 2).

A morte e ritorno.

My family’s motto circles in my mind as I look this problem dead on and try to figure it out.

I’ve faced worse than this. Survived worse odds than this. I won’t let this failure break me.

We have 72 hours to turn this around.

72 hours to make a new plan out of the dregs of the old.

72 hours until all hope is lost.

This task is impossible, but I still like my chances. I have an ace in my pocket and his name is Mason Cain. He might not want to help me, but I don’t plan on giving him a choice in the matter.

My name is Rosalie Oscura. And I refuse to let anything beat me

I absolutely love this series. The characters are fantastic and the storyline is brilliant. I just love Solaria.

Rosalie is fantastic. She’s a true Alpha. She’s strong and determined, and I absolutely love how she always makes the best of each situation and finds a way to make a plan.

I absolutely love Mason Cain. I love how his relationship with Rosalie has developed. He’s hurt and angey after the end of book 2, and I loved seeing him come to terms with the truth. Seeing him willing to help her eventually has been great and watching him accept his feelings had been brilliant. I love seeing them both together. He’s by far my favourite of the boys.

Ethan and Roary are both great too. I’ve enjoyed watching the relationship between them and Rosalie develop. The relationship between the three of them has been great as well. I’m happy with what happened between Rosalie and Roary, but it also made the ending so much worst.

Sin is brilliant. He’s a whole new breed of crazy and I loved it. I think Roaslie was right to get angry at him after he keeps messing up though, but ultimately, that led to his plan which did work. I loved his never-ending supply of lemons. I felt sorry for him at times when he’s thinking that he’s the outsider. It was nice to see Rosalie assuring him that he isn’t.

I think Rosalie’s relationship with all four boys are brilliant and I loved seeing them gradually getting to know each other. They are all dominant, alpha men and sharing Rosalie isn’t exactly natural for them, yet they are making it work.

Plunger. Jesus. He’s just…wow. I absolutely loved the odd Hastings chapters and what he witnessed was hilarious. Potatoes. That’s all.

I laughed a lot. Although what the hell do you have against innocent food?

The small easter eggs mentioning what happened 5 years are painful. It’s making me anxious about Zodiac Academy.

The ending. Our Celestial authors are a little evil sometimes. I shouted at my kindle. Holy shit, it wasn’t something I saw coming. How the hell is that going to be fixed?

I can’t wait for the next book. Overall, this series is brilliant and I loved this book. I would definitely recommend it.

My rating: 5/5*

Voyeur by Candace Wondrak

Welcome to the Dollhouse, where devils rule.I used to be a good girl.

I did everything right. But then I came home and found my boyfriend in bed with my sister, so I left, eventually finding myself at the Dollhouse—a strip club. No good girl would be caught dead at the Dollhouse, but like I said, that was the old me. The new me? The new me likes it dirty. Likes it rough. I like being put on display and watched… and he likes watching. He will do anything to take me as his own and make me his in every sick way possible. He wants to own me. To control me.

Roman is a devil in a suit, the kind of dangerous man who can bend anyone to his will. Together, with his partner in crime, Carter, he dominates me the moment we meet. But I still have a mind of my own, my own wants and desires that include a sweet, kind, and dangerously cute neighbor of mine.

If Roman wants to keep me, he’ll either have to cage me or bow to me once in a while.

Even devils can break.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great and the storyline was good.

Zoey was a great character. I loved how she had a backbone and put up a fight against Roman’s possessive needs. I loved the relationship between them both.

Roman was brilliant. I love his dark nature and his desire to watch her made him interesting. I loved it when he gave in and took her for himself. I enjoyed his development, because he is undoubtedly possessive and controlling. He knew what he needed to do to keep Zoey. I liked the fact that he developed genuine feelings towards her.

Carter was brilliant as well. I loved the development in him and his feelings towards Zoey. I have to admire his loyalty to Roman. No matter what his thoughts and desires were, he followed Romans orders. They were definitely a package together.

Lake was alright. He definitely filled the gaps which Roman and Carter couldn’t fill, but I clearly prefer the darker men personally. He was an all round nice guy, and seeing him accept her situation with Roman was interesting to read.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was pretty hot between Zoey and the guys, and I loved the character developments.

I would definitely recommend this book.
