This is the third book in the Enhanced series.
This book was great and very enjoyable. I loved how the storyline progressed. It moved at, once again, a nice steady pace. Nothing is rushed in these books. It’s written really well in a way which makes you savour and enjoy the story development.
It was nice to read about Brie developing her newly found powers. Her sympathy and care towards others is a nice human and down to earth touch with her. Is a nice opposition of that of her brother who just thinks of the overall mission and not each individual. She tries to help everyone, and is finding it hard to accept that she just can’t unless she completes her mission.
It was nice watching her relationship with Sophie and Rycard develop. They are living different lives and yet, Sophie and Brie have started out in a similar place. Getting a deeper insight to Sophie was a nice touch in the books.
I started to like Adryan in this book. Seeing his emotions surface against everything which is believed about the Savants just makes me like him.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the story progresses in the next book.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this series. It is so captivating. Again, this series definitely needs to be read in order. It’s looking like I will end up reading the whole series in a row at this rate. I just can’t seem to stop and move on to a different book. I just feel the need to know what happens next which I say is a sign of a good book.
My rating: 5/5*
