Devil’s Pass by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

This is a Novella prequel to Sinners Playground (The Harlequin Crew Book 1)

Ten years ago, The Harlequin Boys broke my heart.

I thought my life was complete with them at my side, the five of us against the world, having each other’s backs no matter what the cost.

I’d fight for them until my dying breath.

It’s just a shame they didn’t feel the same.

Once upon a time, my imperfect world shone bright with the light of four boys I would have killed for.

This is the story of how they destroyed me.

I really enjoyed this Novella and it has me super excited for the first book in the series coming out.

Rogue is a brilliant character and I can already tell that she’s going to be really hardcore. She’s already been through a lot and I think the events of this Novella are only going to make her stronger.

The four boys are great. Each one seems to have their own personality and I loved the relationship they each had with Rogue. You can’t fault their reasoning behind their actions, however harsh it was. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of them more in the main book.

The storyline was brilliant. They did everything to protect her, but she doesn’t know that. I can already imagine how the main book is going to go. She doesn’t know the truth behind their actions and hates them for what they’ve done. They eachoce her but want to protect her from Luther’s threats.

I can ready tell that Luther is an arsehole, and if he’s in the main book, I can imagine he’s even more of a dick 10 years later.

This was a brilliant prequel and introduction to this new series. The characters are ready great and I’m looking forward to reading the main book and seeing what has changed in 10 years.

My rating: 5/5*
