This is the 6th and final book in the series.
The final book. The final mission. The final hour.
Time’s up.
Everything Robin has fought for hangs in the balance, and she no longer knows who to trust. But when hiding is no longer an option for Little John, Nathan must put his decades-old plan into motion… whether they are prepared or not.
The book was absolutely brilliant. It moved at an exciting fast pace, the characters continued to be great and the storyline progressed and finished well.
Robin was brilliant in this book. She was really thrown into the deep end of things, yet managed to keep fairly calm and do what she was meant to do. She was brave, yet still felt fear. Jace was a solid rock for her, but he also had fear towards some of the missions they had to face and he was scared of losing her. Their love for eachother has been great to see develop.
The rest of Team Hood were also brilliant characters. Each one was important and added to the plot. The series wouldn’t have been the same without any of them. Nathan was a brilliant leader for Little John and the cause. He really came across as brave in this book, yet we really saw his emotions start to come out. It has been nice getting to know him along woth Robin and the team.
This whole book was fast paced which was exciting to read. There wasn’t a dull moment. The ending was a happy and satisfying one. All the terrible times, missions and loss they endured throughout their missions was alot, so it was a great ending to read.
I’m kind of sad that this was the final book of the series. It was one that really drew me in. Overall, I would definitely recommend reading this series from the start. It was just brilliant.
My rating: 5/5*
