Broken Fae (Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac Book 4) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

This is the 4th book in the Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac series.

Me and my kings have come as close to breaking as I ever could have feared.

Just as we were finding a way to get past our difficulties, the stars have torn us apart. Can I fight against the will of the heavens or does fate have something unforeseen in store for me now?

While we’e reeling from the wheel of fate and trying to find a way to move on with our lives, our enemies are only growing more powerful.

Felix Oscura is haunting Alestria with his bloodthirsy need to steal the power of the clan he was never destined to rule over. And the illusive King is growing closer to their goal of taking control of the entire city and maybe even beyond.

With challenges around every corner and the mysteries behind my brother’s death slowly starting to unravel, will I be able to piece everything together and find a way to overcome the will of the stars before it’s too late?

This book was absolutely fantastic. The storyline was brilliant and the characters continued to develop well.

I absolutely love Elise. She’s such a strong and determined character. I love her connection to all the boys as well.

Gabriel is my favourite, and he came out of himself in this book. I loved seeing him with the other 3, and his growing relationship with Ryder is fantastic. Both of them are great together.

I also love Leon and Dante. Leon makes me laugh. He’s brilliant. I enjoyed seeing his relationship with Elise develop after their newfound bond. Dante is just a brilliant character and my heart went out to him after the whole Lionel incident. That man is an absolute monster and I hope he gets what he deserves in the Zodiac Academy series. I also loved seeing a young Rosalie in this book.

The storyline was brilliant. It was great to see the moments between the 4 men and Elise. Christmas was brilliant to read. The relationship and gang situation between Dante and Ryder was done so well. The situation with King also developed well, although holy shit, the ending.

I can’t wait to read the next book, because as usual, what a cliffhanger. This series is absolutely fantastic and I would definitely recommend it. All of the Solaria book are fantastic, (Zodiac Academy, Darkmore Penitentiary.) This world is simply fantastic.

My rating: 5/5
