This is the second book in The Hunted Series.
Temptation has quickly turned into addiction. Penny fell hard for her mysterious professor, but secrets have torn them apart. After all, scandalous affairs are meant to go down in flames.
Now that he’s not speaking to her, she feels numb. And what hurts the most is that he appears to be completely fine. As she struggles to accept that their relationship is really over, her best friend’s crude advice is in the back of her mind- the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else.
Will she be able to move on, or is her addiction to her alluring professor only just beginning?
I absolutely loved reading this book. The characters are brilliant and the storyline is great.
Penny and James are both brilliant characters. Their relationship is the best, and it’s brilliant how it’s developing as the story goes on.
Penny is learning more and more about him, and they’re just falling more in love. I love the fact that she isn’t with him for his money. Penny’s very down to earth. They’re having some hot moments between them, but they’re also having some problems on the way, but they keep overcoming them. I can’t blame her for falling in love with James, and the ending, cor, he’s just brilliant.
Overall, I’m loving this series, and I found this book better than the first one. It’s an easy read and the characters and storyline are brilliant. I would definitely recommend it.
My rating: 5/5″
