This is the fourth book in The Gender Games series.
“For the sake of Viggo, my brother, my family in Patrus, and every single citizen of our God-forsaken nations, I had to stop the war.”
I’m enjoying listening to this series on audiobook as much as I first enjoyed reading it.
Violet is a great character. She wants to stop the war which is begining to rage between Matrus and Patrus. I love Viggo. He’s a fantastic. I love the romance between him and Violet. It is overpowering the story, nor is it cheesy. It’s just sweet.
I love all of the other characters. Owen, Melissa Dale, Amber, and the two boys. They’re all great. Thomas is a little frustrating though.
This book is full of action from the start, to what happened at Ambers mansion, to the ending at the Palace.
The world building is faultless. It’s brilliant and I love the dystopian feel with what’s going on between both Matrus and Patrus.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this series. It’s a fun and exciting YA series.
My rating: 5/5*
