I really enjoyed this book. The characters are great, the storyline is good and it hit the feels.
Jessie is a great character. She is so strong willed to put up with what he makes her suffer through. I love her adamance to say no to him until he changed his tune.
Christos is a brilliant character. He’s very complex. He took things way too far in this book and was actually pretty cruel. When he realised how he truly felt about her, he changed how he treated her.
They both just needed to talk to each other more. He needed to open up and she needed him to listen. He needed to apologise for his behaviour. He was cruel and he deserved to be told no. She really has suffered more than anyone should.
I absolutely loved it when they were both on the same page, deciding that they loved eachother. They have a spark between them, and she does understand who he is. He actually has feelings towards her, and she really does bring out the best of him.
His actions at the end were a little gut wrenching. How could he do that to her? I can see his reasoning, but I think he’s wrong. I think her feeling are true. I’m looking forward to reading the next book and I seriously hope she find him. I really want them to both have a happy ending together.
I would definitely recommend this series.
