I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was good and I liked the characters.
I liked Anais. She was strong enough to deal with Damien’s shit and knew when to put her foot down, especially at the end. I think he needed that reality check. She wasn’t given any choice but to accept his demands.
I loved Damien even though he was an arsehole at times. He was growing to truly like her but his inability to face his demons cost him. I hope he opens up more to her.
I loved the tension and spark between them. Their bodies crave each other. I’m looking forward to seeing their relationship develop more.
The ending was very unexpected and I’m looking forward to seeing where it leads.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this book and I’m looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
